





Ubisoft: Resilience Through Controversy
This project explores how Ubisoft navigated the turbulent pre-release cycle of Assassin’s Creed Shadows, facing controversy, delays, and public skepticism before successfully bringing the game to launch.
As motion designer and art director, I turned Ubisoft’s turnaround into a clear visual story, using a duotone red and black palette to highlight key moments and shifts. The style is fast, gritty, and slightly grunge to match the tension around the project, while still keeping the focus on how Ubisoft changed its messaging, leaned into gameplay, and refocused on the player experience. Overall, it shows how clearer communication and stronger positioning helped shift the perception of the game.
